As your system grows larger, you may experience an internal error message when attempting to view live data. This happens when the system becomes slower and takes longer to retrieve and process the requested data. Consequently, the live view report takes too long to complete, resulting in Apache returning an error message due to a time-out.

We recommend changing the specific settings below in the php.ini file.

Common error messages include:

• Internal error

Modify the PHP.ini file

• Stop the Apache service.
• Open php.ini found in C:\Program Files (x86)\Ellab Monitoring Solutions Ltd\PHP\php.ini
• Change max_execution_time to 120
• Change max_input_time to 120
• Change memory_limit to 512M
• Start the Apache service.
• Verify that you can log into EMS again.

Because this file is located in the Program Files folder, you may not be able to modify it directly. If this occurs, copy the file to your Desktop, make the necessary changes, save it, and then copy it back to the original folder.
