Setting the Smart Receiver Clock and Erasing Memory

Smart Receivers are configured using the EMSRemoteManagementTool utilities. See: IM6000 Hanwell EMS Remote Management Tool manual for more details.

The Smart Receiver has an on-board clock used for time/date stamping data.

In EMS, most date time values, including data values are stored as Greenwich Mean Time (GMT); setting the clock from one of the Management Tool Utilities will automatically set the SR2 clock to GMT.

Note:RadioLog uses local time to store data; which is why an SR2 cannot be shared between an EMS and a RadioLog installation.

Ideally, you should set the clock so that the time is synchronised with the EMS Server's time.

If it is out of sync., you may get false Elapsed Time Alarms.
