There are five steps to installing an SR2 Receiver:

•Wall-mounting the SR2

•Connecting the Receiver Unit

Note:Not all SR2s come with an external receiver. Some SR2s have an internal receiver with an aerial mounted on the top of the Unit.

•Connecting the Power and Network connections to the SR2

Caution:Do NOT power up the SR2 until ALL of the above steps have been completed!

•Configuring the SR2 in EMS

•Setting the Smart Receiver Clock and Erasing Memory

Additionally, you can change the default hardware settings of the SR2 (see System Configuration Sensors) or connect Local Sensors (see Adding Sensors).
