The Check SMS Feature is provided to enable testing of the SMS settings/numbers.

To Test an SMS Address

1.Select Check SMS Feature from the SYSTEM CONFIGURATION drop-down list to display the Check SMS Feature window. See Figure 457 below:

2.Enter a number into the Telephone No: dialog box.

3.Click Submit.

•The window shown in Figure 458 below will be displayed :

•An SMS in the following format will be sent to the SMS number being tested:

Dear Mr/Ms,

This is a test SMS message to check the EMS SMS feature. You are receiving this message because your telephone number has been provided as a test SMS recipient.

Thank you,

The EMS Team

 

•If the message is received, the SMS number is valid.
