It is possible at some time in the future that a new piece of software could be added to the server which causes a Port conflict.
Hanwell would recommend that the new item be given a different Port number; if this is not possible then a new Port Number can be allocated to the relevant EMS Service.

Viewing Hardware Service Details
1.Select Device management from the SYSTEM ADMIN list in the System drop-down menu. See Figure 588 below:

2.Select Edit/View HW Services from the DEVICE MANAGEMENT drop-down menu. See Figure 590 below:

Editing Hardware Service Details
1.Select Device management from the SYSTEM ADMIN list in the System drop-down menu. See Figure 592 below:

2.Select Edit/View HW Services from the DEVICE MANAGEMENT drop-down menu. See Figure 594 below:

4.Click on [Edit] on the line corresponding to the Hardware Service to be edited. See Figure 595 above.

Note: | You should only edit the IP Address or DB Logger Port Number (Port No:). |
5.Contact your IT Department or IT Service Provider to get a new IP Address or DB Logger Port Number.
6.Once you have the new details number enter them into the dialog boxes next to either IP Address: or Port No: (DB Logger Port Number).
Note: | The details in the Hardware Service Name:, Accept Legacy: and DB Logger Service Port No: dialog boxes should not be changed. |
•The 'Yes' Accept Legacy: radio button should be checked if the Control Device receives data from Sensors which pre-date the 4000/5000 USB Series.
7.Once you are happy with the details, select Update Details.
•To make these changes take effect you will need to un-install the Hardware Services and re-install them.
